Week days Lesson

What is it?

It is a weekly one and half hour lesson solely on math covering addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Children are provided with a platform to do different math using basketball, netball, soccer…They are paired with a partner who would always demand how they have arrived at the final answer and whether they have other ways of finding the answer they come up with.

Whom is this math lessons for?

If your child does not enjoy sitting to do math.
If your child think math does not make sense yet.
If your child is not challenged cognitively
Age group: 5 to 12years old.

CONTENT

ADDITION * |  SUBTRACTION * | MULTIPLICATION * | DIVISION *

*4-5 years old: Synchrony, one to one tagging, one to one correspondence, counting, counting backward, hierarchical inclusions, subitizing, writing numbers, doubles intro, addition, subtraction…

*6-8 years old: counting on, making teens, place value, skip counting, doubles, number line, addition, subtraction…

*9-12 years old: addition, subtraction, multiplication, using doubles for near double, compensation, inverse operation, division, decimals, fractions…
